Purpose: Access the current tab to detect and convert timezone text.

Data Access: Reads only the text you select; nothing is stored or transmitted.

clipboardRead

Purpose: Read clipboard text for the Alt+Shift+T shortcut.

Data Access: Clipboard is accessed only when you trigger the shortcut; data is never stored.

notifications

Purpose: Display timezone conversion notifications.

Data Access: None.

alarms

Purpose: Keep the extension’s service worker active.

Data Access: None.

Data Access: Reads only the text you explicitly select; it does not automatically read page content.

Third-Party Services

The extension does not use third-party services, analytics, or tracking. All processing happens locally using JavaScript’s Intl API.

No data is transmitted outside your browser. Your preferences remain protected by Chrome’s built-in storage security.

Children’s Privacy

The extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No personal information is required or processed.
